Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Eddie Guidry began learning the discipline and organization that would become the foundation of his investing philosophy when he joined the Army at the age of 17. Eddie proudly served as an engineer before he was honorably discharged after 8 years of service. After his time in the army he then went back to school to study finance at NVCC.
After graduation Eddie spent eight years in banking working as a wholesale mortgage advisor at Monarch Bank and five years in private real estate management at Cross Real Estate Services. He began working in private asset management after moving to Charleston in 2010. In 2012 Eddie decided to put his experience in financial services to work for investors when he opened his office with Edward Jones Investments where he was ranked in the top 5% of financial advisors for client service in the SC/GA region.
Today, Eddie manages his own independent financial planning and investment management practice through Kingsview Asset Management.
When he isn’t at the office helping his clients with advanced tax and wealth strategies, Eddie enjoys spending his free time with his wife Jen and three sons (Austin the Surfer, Joey the Boy Scout and Cayden the Warrior). He is also proud to devote time to the Boy Scouts of America and Murray-Lasaine Elementary where he serves on the PTO board. Eddie and Jen are also parishioners at Nativity Catholic Church.
