Fee-Only Financial Planning & Investing for Today's Professionals.
I’ve thought a lot about the word compromise lately. In some instances, it can be a very good, diplomatic and helpful way to solve tough issues that are rarely black and white.
In other instances, it can mean that we’re settling. That’s what I’ve wanted to avoid as I’ve built this business for clients. There should be a no-compromise option for individuals and families to receive professional, unbiased support for all their financial goals.
By de-coupling professional advice from product sales, we can work together on what is most important to you without potential conflicts of interest or undue focus on one aspect of your financial plan over another.
Over the years, I have been privileged to work with a wide variety of clients, from young people wanting a ‘smart start’, to multi-generational high net worth families. These experiences have shown me that financial planning can be very complex, but the process doesn’t have to be intimidating or overwhelming.
I began working in the financial services industry in 2000, earned an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2001, and became a CFP® professional in 2006. In 2005, I began developing a financial education non-profit organization, Common Cents Financial Literacy, Inc. to help guide young people toward an independent and responsible financial future. Additionally, I served as an adjunct Finance instructor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2014 - 2017. In February 2019, I earned the Enrolled Agent (EA) tax designation from the IRS.
While my professional life is solely focused on personal finance, I actually don’t believe it’s all about the money. I believe that we need to be good stewards of the resources we have and we will be able to achieve more for ourselves and for others if we are thoughtful and well prepared for the future.
Having a solid financial plan is about giving you the peace of mind to enjoy all the things that are important to you.
I am dedicated to helping my clients connect their realities of today with their future goals.

About Wealthminder
Wealthminder was created for one simple reason: To help people get the financial assistance they need to achieve their long-term financial goals.
Wealthminder is a database derived from SEC.gov data covering every Investment Advisor Representative in the country. We work hard to collect and provide you the information you need to find a financial advisor who’s right for you.
Finding a Financial Advisor through Wealthminder
Historically finding and hiring a financial advisor was hard. Wealthminder was built to make the process much easier.
The best way to use Wealthminder is to take advantage of our free proposal system. All you have to do is take a few minutes of your time to describe your situation and the assistance you are looking for.
Wealthminder then sends your request to our network of prescreened financial advisors. If a financial advisor is interested in your business, they will submit a proposal to you.
You review the proposals you receive and decide if you’d like to have a follow-up call with one or more of the financial advisors.
Throughout the process, you maintain control. We only share your contact information with a financial advisor once you ask for an introduction.
