Martin’s philosophy is that the scarcity paradigm many boomers are facing can be easily avoided. Martin Lowenthal was one of the youngest members of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange at 23 and one of the founding members of the equity options, financial futures and commodity exchanges in South Africa. Martin spent 10 years as a partner at a boutique investment bank where he oversaw the nationwide trading desk. The firm also helped small to medium size enterprises access capital with mezzanine finance, IPO and asset securitization. Martin has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Town as well as an MS in Investment Management from Boston University. Martin is an active angel investor and sponsor of Boston Harbor Angels. Martin is an executive board member of the JNF, Jewish National Fund in the New England Zone. He is also a member of the MDRT, Million Dollar Round Table. Martin holds FINRA 7, 63 & 65 licenses,CLU® (Chartered Life Underwriter), ChFC® Chartered Financial Consultant), CLTC (Corporation for Long Term Care Certification) as well as Life, accident and health insurance. Martin lives in Newton, MA with his wife Laura and three daughters.
