Roger Cross has been in the financial services industry for many years, serving clients and helping them solve their greatest retirement concern-protecting their “nest egg.” Roger believes there are two aspects in financial planning: creating wealth and protecting it.
Before coming to NW Tax & Wealth Advisory Group, Inc., Roger served as District Sales Manager for GE Financial, developing the Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Montana markets before his promotion to Regional Sales Manager for the Oregon and Idaho division. In addition, he volunteered with the National Association of Health Underwriters, where he served as Vice President of the local chapter and was invited by the governor of Washington to join a task force addressing the importance of long term care insurance. Roger feels that it is an honor to be part of NW Tax & Wealth Advisory Group, Inc., where they value integrity and genuine concern for every client.
Roger is married and has two children. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, fishing, hiking, and traveling with family.
Dan is an Investment Adviser Representative (IAR) holding his Series 65 and Life Insurance licenses. Dan is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Prior to joining NW Tax & Wealth Advisory Group, Inc., he worked with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a Revenue Agent for over 4 years. Dan audited businesses such as Partnerships, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, Trusts, Sole Proprietors, and also various abusive tax avoidance transactions.
These experiences have given him insight into the tax opportunities and potential pitfalls facing small business owners and individuals alike. Dan holds business degrees from University of North Texas (Marketing) and Portland State University (Accounting).
Dan is married and has two children. Despite his Texas ties, he has become an “adopted” Oregon State Beavers fan. Dan enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
Chris is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an Investment Adviser Representative (IAR) holding his Series 65 and Life Insurance licenses. Chris has been with the firm since 2012, is a shareholder, and is the Company Vice President.
Prior to joining NW Tax & Wealth Advisory Group, Inc., he worked with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a Revenue Agent for nearly 10 years. Chris audited businesses such as Partnerships, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, Trusts, Sole Proprietors, and also various abusive tax avoidance transactions. During his time with the IRS, Chris became a Certified IRS Instructor teaching S-Corporation and Partnership Tax Law to Revenue Agents from across the country and also became the acting Group Manager for one of the audit groups in Portland, Oregon. These experiences have instilled in him wisdom beyond his years, which has brought considerable value to the clients of NW Tax & Wealth Advisory Group, Inc. Chris believes whole-heartedly in trust-based relationships and brings this conviction to his planning practices.
Chris is married and has three children. He is a graduate from Pacific Lutheran University with a BBA in Business and concentration in Accounting. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
Danny Harlow is the President and Chief Compliance Officer for NW Tax & Wealth Advisory Group, Inc. He began working in the financial services industry in 1973 and is well versed in financial and tax planning topics and strategies.
Mr. Harlow is a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals and the National Society of Accountants as well as two other prestigious groups in the financial industry – the Million Dollar Round Table (of which he’s considered "Top of Table") and the Ed Slott Elite IRA Advisor Group™, led by famed IRA expert Ed Slott. He is a LUTC® with the Life Underwriter Training Council, an insurance training agency, and has kept up-to-date on trends in the financial services industry by attending industry educational workshops. Mr. Harlow is also a weekly contributor and the selected trusted advisor of The Financial Safari, a national radio program focused on retirement planning, airing each week on local radio stations 93.9 KPDQ-FM on Saturday mornings at 8:00 a.m., KPAM 860-AM on Saturday mornings at 9:00 a.m., and KXL-FM 101.1 on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. He also has been featured in Newsweek magazine as one of America’s premiere experts in financial planning and has been a special guest discussing retirement planning on The Brian Tracy television show.
Mr. Harlow is married and is a long time resident of the Pacific Northwest. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren, and playing golf.
