Parkside Capital Advisors LLC is an independent registered investment adviser specializing in portfolio management services and financial planning advice for families, individuals and organizations.

We are experienced institutional investors, not brokers.  Parkside was founded to provide a unique solution that is underrepresented in the investment advisory and wealth management business today.  That is, financial advisors with extensive institutional investing experience working with clients to drive the long-term performance of their portfolios.  The prevailing model at large firms typically involves salespeople outsourcing portfolio management decisions to a standardized, firm model that utilizes expensive investment products, mutual funds, or their own brokerage firm’s analyst recommendations.

Parkside’s unique portfolio approach combines global asset allocation utilizing low cost vehicles such as ETFs with active stock selection based on a research process refined by our Managing Partner over ten years of institutional portfolio management and equity research experience at some of the largest U.S. hedge funds.

We combine active stock selection with asset allocation.   At Parkside, we believe active stock selection has a meaningful place as a portion of a client’s portfolio.  Parkside’s stock selection process is based on fundamental bottoms-up analysis with a Value and Growth at a Reasonable Price orientation.  We aim to identify companies that we view are trading below their intrinsic value with a catalyst path to recognizing that value over time.

In combination with our active stock selection process, Parkside employs active asset allocation strategies across a variety of asset groups, including global equities and fixed income, real estate and commodities.  Active asset allocation and diversification allow an investor to lower risk and volatility for a targeted return range.  The recent growth in ETFs and similar investment vehicles have allowed investors to achieve this asset diversification more cost effectively than in the past.  The selection of investments overall varies depending upon the circumstances of each client, including risk tolerance, age and investment time horizon.

This combination of active asset allocation and individual stock selection is the foundation of our Comprehensive Portfolio Management strategy.

We provide independent and unbiased counsel and financial planning.  At Parkside, our overarching goals are our clients’ wealth preservation and growth.  Our research, investment selection and portfolio management processes are driven solely with this goal in mind.  We receive no commissions or other forms of payment from third parties.  Our fees are based on the value of client assets under our management or the financial advisory services provided.  This structure aligns our interests solely with our clients’ interests in growing their assets and avoids conflicts inherent in traditional brokerage relationships.
