Hi, I’m Brian. I started Truly Prosper Financial Planning to help people retire with clarity and confidence. We provide flat fee retirement planning and investment management. We also provide one-time retirement plans for do-it-yourself (DIY) investors.

Before starting Truly Prosper, I worked for over ten years at a fee-only wealth management firm in Cincinnati, Ohio. I was able to gain valuable experience developing detailed retirement plans, tax projections, and social security strategies for high-net-worth clients. I enjoyed the work and appreciated my time there, but I felt called to create a different kind of financial planning business.

In 2020, Truly Prosper was founded on the beliefs that:

  • Financial Life Planning can help people live the best life possible with the money they have.
  • Retirement planning should be available to all people, not just the wealthy.
  • Pricing should be based on the services received and not the size of your investment portfolio. That's why I charge a flat-fee and do not charge the typcial fee of 1% of assets.
  • Retirees are better served by an advisor specializing in retirement planning.

I'm a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional. CFP® professionals must pass the comprehensive CFP® Certification Examination, pass CFP® Board's Fitness Standards for Candidates and Registrants, agree to abide by CFP® Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and Rules of Conduct which put clients' interests first and comply with the Financial Planning Practice Standards.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three kids. We love playing board games, going for adventure walks, or playing a game of backyard kickball.
