Polaris Greystone Financial Group, LLC is a top down, dynamic investment manager. In plain English this means that we begin our investment decisions by looking at the big picture. We look at world dynamics to see if there could be any impact to our markets. We then look to the United States, the health of our markets overall, which sectors of the market look the best, and finally which individual investments within each sector give us the best opportunity to grow your portfolio. If the broad-based markets look healthy, we will invest a higher percentage of your portfolio (based upon your risk tolerance) in stocks. If the health of the overall markets begins to deteriorate, we will begin lowering that percentage. As we get more confirmation that our research is correct, we move dynamically to take advantage of the circumstances (aggressively or defensively, depending on our readings).
Our Investment Philosophy is based upon four pillars of investing: technical analysis, macroeconomic conditions, fundamental research, and the sentiment of the market. We believe that each of these philosophies work well on their own, but when combined they provide us an advantage in understanding the overall health of the markets.
- Technical Analysis – We use several hundred technical indicators to help us understand the broader market’s strength and momentum, and to further understand which segments of the market show the most promise of providing strong returns.
- Macroeconomic Conditions – We use macroeconomic statistics to understand the overall economy and its effects on the capital markets.
- Fundamental Research – We use fundamental research to analyze earnings potential and growth prospects of an investment and to further determine its intrinsic valuation.
- Market Sentiment – We evaluate overall investor sentiment to gauge current opportunities or risks to the broad based markets.
One of the most important elements of investing is limiting losses. Even the very best investor may lose money due to an investment choice or a downturn in the overall market. Managing risk and controlling loss is what differentiates us from our peers and distinguishes us from the average investor.

We take the information that you’ve provided to us in the Discovery Meeting and create a customized financial plan. This is done free of cost or obligation of working with Polaris Greystone. The Investment Plan Meeting is where we present our findings. We will tell you what we feel you are doing correctly, and what could be improved upon. The plan clarifies the probabilities of accomplishing your financial goals.
- Mutual Commitment Meeting
If you see value in the services we provide to our clients, you would move forward to formalize the relationship. This is done in our Mutual Commitment Meeting. We answer any remaining questions you might have about your financial plan, and sign paperwork to hire Polaris Greystone to assist you in accomplishing your long-term financial goals.

Wealthminder was created for one simple reason: To help people get the financial assistance they need to achieve their long-term financial goals.
Wealthminder is a database of every Investment Advisor Representative in the country. We work hard to collect and provide you the information you need to find a financial advisor who’s right for you.
If you are looking for a specific financial advisor and you can’t find them on Wealthminder, it’s likely that they are either exclusively a broker or are unlicensed - please contact us and we’ll try to help!
Finding a Financial Advisor through Wealthminder
Historically finding and hiring a financial advisor was hard. Wealthminder was built to make the process much easier.
The best way to use Wealthminder is to take advantage of our free proposal system. All you have to do is take a few minutes of your time to describe your situation and the assistance you are looking for.
Wealthminder then sends your request to our network of prescreened financial advisors. If a financial advisor is interested in your business, they will submit a proposal to you.
You review the proposals you receive and decide if you’d like to have a follow-up call with one or more of the financial advisors.
Throughout the process, you maintain control. We only share your contact information with a financial advisor once you ask for an introduction.
